How do I find out if Comcast is down in my area? ›

You can check for outages using the Xfinity app on your mobile phone. Simply open the Xfinity app and outage information appears.

Are Comcast and Xfinity the same? Yes, Xfinity is the brand name of Comcast Cable Communications, a division of the larger telecommunication company, Comcast.

You live outside of our service area. Your address is more than 300 feet from our physical network. We haven't extended our service line to your address. The "network damage" indication in the outage status tool generally indicates physical damage to some of the network infrastructure that is outside our control.
