Welcome to one of South Carolina’s most unspoiled barrier islands. Less than 25 miles from the bustling streets of Historic Charleston, Kiawah Island extends into the Atlantic Ocean, revealing ten miles of sandy shoreline to the undulating surf. As part of South Carolina’s fabled Lowcountry, the Island is a nature enthusiast’s paradise of lush maritime forests and winding saltwater marshes where local flora and fauna thrive…and visitors feel like they’re a world away.
